Eric Benavides, Founder & CEO

Eric was born and raised in Dallas and graduated from Midlothian High School in 1983. He continued his education at Texas State Technical College and graduated in 1984. He has three sons; Josh, Cameron, and Taylor. Josh is finishing up his last year of school, Cameron is in law school in Colorado, and Taylor has his computer science degree. In his free time, he loves boating, riding on his jet skis, and cooking out.

Richard Benavides, VP of Manufacturing

Richard graduated from Midlothian High School in 1986. He did custom trim wood work in new houses for thirty years. He is active in his church and has served as a Deacon for five years. He has been married to his lovely wife for thirty-one years, and they have three daughters and three grandkids. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling with his wife.

Debbie Benavides, Payroll and Financial Manager

Debbie moved to Dallas when she was a teenager. She is mother to three awesome sons; whom she had the privilege to home school. In her time off Debbie cherishes time with family and friends. Hobbies include gardening, puzzles, drawing and traveling.

Amy Hilton, Staff Accountant

Amy Hilton, Staff Accountant

Amy graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting degree, with plans to sit for the CPA exam next summer. Amy is an avid local Sports fan, with the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars being at the top of her list. When she is not working, Amy is usually studying or binge-watching DC or Marvel movies with her family.

John Pezzini, VP Sales

John Pezzini, VP Sales

John has a business degree in organizational development and several years of experience in sales leadership and marketing roles. He had a valuable experience in the accessory and storage building industry prior to joining Backyard Workroom. He is truly a client consultant for our customers and enjoys helping them create the space they need. John also enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and spending time with his family and friends.

Steve Warren, Permit Coordinator

Steve Warren, Permit Coordinator

Steve has lived in the DFW for more than thirty years. He was originally raised in Wichita Falls, Texas where he obtained a bachelor's degree. As the Permit Coordinator with Backyard Workroom, he finds it enjoyable obtaining permits for their clients soon as possible. When not working, he and his wife spend as much time as they can with their five-year-old granddaughter. Outside of spending time with their granddaughter and family, they enjoy getting out discovering a new outdoor adventure.

Mario Cisneros, Creative Services Manager

Mario Cisneros, Creative Services Manager

Mario has twenty-three years of experience in the web space and is responsible for the company's website and SEO initiatives. Before joining Backyard Workroom Mario worked for such notable technology companies as Hewlett Packard, Perot Systems and Electronic Data Systems in various creative and leadership roles. Mario attended Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, and has been married thirty-eight years to Corinne, and his son, Aaron is completing his senior year in college.

Kristy Benavides, Receptionist

Kristy Benavides, Receptionist

Kristy graduated from Trenton High school in 1989. For four years she taught preschool at her church and loved working with the little ones. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Richard, for thirty-one years. Together, they have three beautiful daughters and three precious grandkids. She gets a lot of joy out of making others smile. Any day of the week she loves spending time with her family and friends, going to church, doing Bible studies, and traveling.
